Prerequisites: 

Comfortable dancing in heels (at least four heels level 1 classes or comparable experience), confident supporting bodyweight in a forearm brace and a full bracket grip.

What to Bring: 

7- or 8-inch pole heels (sandals preferred and hard plastic platforms will be easier to slide on), socks, water and a snack.

Description:

Step into the world of mesmerizing edgework; spells written in pleaser spikes and winged shapes to take your dancing to the next level. 

In this workshop, Fox will guide you through terminology, ankle conditioning, weight transfers, and a short sequence to give you the foundation needed to start dancing with all the edges of your shoes. We will explore slides and drags utilizing the inner and outer edges of our shoes, as well as adding in flexed foot shapes.
